Seattle Video Production

Seattle is the home of Microsoft, grunge music, excellent coffee, gorgeous foliage, and mystically cloudy skies. It provides unbelievably extensive opportunities for on-location filming. This bustling city is the heart of the Pacific Northwest, and Seattle video production locations are seemingly endless. Located at the gateway between the United States and Canada, there are ample spots right in the city or just a short distance away. There is the vibrant waterfront complete with ferries, water taxis, and meandering paths. Nearby mountains like Mount Rainier and stunning scenery make the scene pop with color and beauty. City scenes include markets, shops, and restaurants of all types. Live music, festivals, and people watching happen all year long. In short, this metro area is a video maker’s dream.

Absolutely love our video, thanks so much 90 Seconds!

Top Seattle Filming Destination

Pike Place Market

This iconic spot that stretches from Pike Street to Virginia Street (north-south) and from 1st Avenue West to Western Avenue (east-west) is about as ideal a filming location as there is. Bustling with activity, this nine-acre spot is home to one of the oldest farmer's markets in the United States. Live music completes the scene.

Pioneer Square

Travel to where Seattle began by visiting this, the city’s first neighborhood that is rich with Renaissance Revival buildings and cultural activities like unique shops, art walks, night life, and restaurants. These downtown sights and sounds provide an excellent backdrop for creative video.

Kerry Park

This location provides a great deal of versatility in that it is both a beautiful natural setting as well as a place to get a bird’s-eye view of downtown Seattle’s skyline and its iconic Space Needle. It is easy to get to Kerry Park, which sits on the south side of Queen Anne Hill. It is the most popular lookout vantage point in the city. In clear weather conditions Mount Rainier is visible.

Seattle Waterfront

Needless to say, water-based activities are plentiful at this spot along Alaskan Way. There are piers, water taxis, Washington State Ferries, cruise ships, and winding paths in this excellent people-watching place. Miner’s Landing offers stores and restaurants. The activity keeps going all year round at the waterfront.

For something completely different and an Asian-inspired video background, Chinatown International District is the place to go. It’s just south of downtown so is easy to access. Here you will discover a range of excitement year round, including shops, restaurants, and cultural festivals such as Dragon Fest and Autumn Moon Festival.
